Our story

AIYA! Jerky was founded in 2019 by Joanne and Leslie, a mother-daughter team with an insatiable love for Bak Kwa. "Aiya" is a Chinese term used to express incredulity, exasperation, and a bunch of other emotions. We came up with this name because it captures exactly what we want you to feel when you bite into our jerky; it's so good it'll make you say AIYA!
